Cindy Rhoday is a Board Certified and State Licensed Acupuncturist. She holds a dual license to practice in FL and VA. Cindy was led to attend Acupuncture School while in the Antique Business. She attended Acupuncture School in Miami, FL where she obtained a Masters Degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. Cindy practices QiGong and she is a Member of the"Forever Young Society." Cindy enjoys treating patients of all ages including children. She is a local resident of Martinsville and Henry County.You may find her at the local walking trails with her family.

Questions About AcupunctureDOES IT HURT? Most patients do not experience pain with Acupuncture .Most people feel heat, tingling, a prick, or nothing at all. The experience isunique to each patient.WHAT ARE THE POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS? THE SIDE EFFECTS ARE FEW IF ANY.The most common side effect is relaxation and stress relief. Some swelling may occur with Facial Rejuvenation but your Pactitioner will make you aware if that is the case for you.DOES MY INSURANCE COVER ACUPUNCTURE? If your insurance company DOES INDEED cover Acupuncture, we will file the claim for you. Make a call to your insurance company or review your policy for specific information regarding coverage.DOES MEDICARE COVER ACUPUNCTURE? CURRENTLY Medicare does not cover Acupuncture.

COMMUNITY ACUPUNCTURE
IS DESIGNED FOR PEOPLE WHO ARE INTERESTED IN ACUPUNCTURE TREATMENT AND WELCOME A COMMUNITY APPROACH.
Community Acupuncture (CAT)
is offered several nights per month on a First Come, First Serve Walk-In Basis.
Patients receive treatment for a brief session in a shared room. Although a certain amount of quiet is observed, patients are free to converse, ask questions, read, or simply meditate. Various conditions and symptoms are treated.
The cost is $20.
This treatment is not meant to replace private session acupuncture but may provide a means for a temporary relief of symptoms.
